Dr. Jeffrey Roh is the Chief Medical Officer at Excel Health, where he brings over twenty years of experience as an inventor, angel investor, and serial entrepreneur. Dr. Roh holds multiple patents through the USPTO, reflecting his innovative contributions to healthcare. He has played a significant role as a consultant for Stryker’s Surgical Design and Innovation teams and as a faculty member and consultant for J&J DePuy Synthes.
His medical expertise is grounded in a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC, one of the world’s leading institutions in this field. Dr. Roh’s educational background is extensive, with an MBA from the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington and a Masters of Science in Technology Management from Columbia University.
Dr. Roh is deeply committed to enhancing clinical care, patient satisfaction, and the delivery of value-based healthcare. He actively contributes to strategic initiatives at Excel Health aimed at these goals. Additionally, he serves on the advisory board of the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and on the Global Advisory Board of UW’s Sales and Marketing Strategy Institute.
As a mentor and advisor for the Jones + Foster Accelerator and UW’s technology transfer office, CoMotion, Dr. Roh supports emerging healthcare innovations. He also contributes as a sponsor and judge for the Holloman Health Innovation Challenge and the annual Dempsey Startup Competition, further showcasing his dedication to fostering healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship.
