Bunionectomy

A bunionectomy is a surgical procedure to remove bunions, which are bony bumps that form on the joint at the base of the big toe. Bunions can cause pain, swelling, and difficulty finding comfortable shoes. During a bunionectomy, the surgeon removes the bony enlargement and realigns the joint to relieve pain and restore normal function.

Hammertoe Correction

Hammertoe correction is a surgical procedure to repair hammertoe, a condition where one or more toes are bent at the middle joint, resembling a hammer. This procedure involves realigning the toe by releasing or repositioning the tendons, ligaments, and sometimes removing a small piece of bone. Hammertoe correction can relieve pain, improve the appearance of the toe, and restore normal function.

Tarsal Tunnel Release

Tarsal tunnel release is a surgical procedure to relieve pressure on the posterior tibial nerve, which runs through the tarsal tunnel on the inside of the ankle. This condition, known as tarsal tunnel syndrome, can cause pain, numbness, and tingling in the foot. During the procedure, the surgeon makes an incision to release the ligament compressing the nerve, alleviating symptoms and restoring normal nerve function.
